Whitaker Oil Company: April 16, 2020 – We are pleased to announce that Colie Whitaker, Chief Operating Officer has been named President effective immediately.
“We are committed to the continued success at Whitaker Oil and I’m confident that Colie will build on that success and provide Whitaker with the vision and leadership necessary for further growth” said Bart Whitaker, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.
He went on the say, “COVID-19 has presented a unique challenge to the company and Colie is the right person to guide Whitaker through these current and future challenges”.
Colie has been in the role of Chief Operating Officer for Whitaker since 2016. He was responsible for operations at both the Ocoee and Atlanta branch, oversaw the cooperate purchasing program and he also managed the Regulatory and Compliance department.

Bart Whitaker will continue to stay involved in the company acting as CEO and Chairman of the Board.
Prior to joining Whitaker Oil Company, Colie was a Major the US Air Force and flew the U-2 spy plane. While in the Air Force, he was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal, 5 Combat Air Medals and served as the Director of Operations and Chief of Strategic Plans. Colie graduated from Clemson University and is married with 3 sons.
